Reed Miller

Reed Miller is a postdoctoral associate at YCELP, focusing on the novel Global Commons Stewardship Index. He recently completed his PhD at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology.  Prior to joining Yale, he was a research specialist at the MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub, and earned Masters degrees at MIT in Technology & Policy and Environmental Engineering.  Originally from Rochester, NY, he earned his BS in Environmental Engineering at University at Buffalo.  In recent years, Reed’s research has focused on various applications of Industrial Ecology tools including Life Cycle Assessment, Environmentally-Extended Input-Output analysis, and Material Flow Analysis.  He has applied these tools to industries like aviation, metals, electronics, buildings, and roads.
