Rebecca Gillman

Rebecca Gillman is a second-year Masters of Public Health (MPH) candidate in Health Policy at the Yale School of Public Health. Her studies concentrate on climate change and health, with an equity and environmental justice emphasis. At Yale, Rebecca serves as Program Manager for the Medly Uganda project at the Yale School of Medicine, through the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC). She is also involved with multiple activities through the Yale Center on Climate Change and Health (YCCCH).  Rebecca will be applying to law schools this Fall, to pursue a career in environmental and climate change law.

Prior to attending Yale, Rebecca served for two years in Moldova as a Health Education Teacher for the Peace Corps. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina Honors College, and studied global health and sustainability abroad, both at the University of Sydney and in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
