Joshua DeAnda is a Master of Environmental Management student at the Yale School of the Environment. He is looking to specialize in environmental policy analysis and climate change science and solutions.
Joshua recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental systems and society. During his time at UCLA, he spent nearly two years working with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) on the American Cities Climate Challenge, supporting U.S. cities with the passage of building benchmarking ordinances, decarbonization efforts, and sustainable transportation goals. Prior to NRDC, he spent six months in Washington D.C. interning for the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
Every day, Joshua makes time for at least one of his three favorite activities: reading, a run, or a game of Rocket League.
