Currently, the final text is still being negotiated in Katowice, as Parties have remained in the city for extra time to reach an agreement. It has also been announced that Chile will host COP 25 in 2019.

On Monday, October 22, the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy hosted Todd Stern for a conversation about the next steps for climate change. Stern, the former US Chief Negotiator for the Paris Climate Agreement, is currently a senior fellow at Brookings Institution and a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School. Center Director Professor Dan Esty moderated the event.

On Monday, October 29th, the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication hosted the Political Climate podcast.
