Event description:
This special event will feature Elliot Harris, the Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the New York Office of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Prior to UNEP, Mr. Harris served as the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Special Representative to the United Nations, and was closely involved in interagency collaboration in the areas of social protection, the green economy, and fiscal space for social policy. Mr. Harris will share his experiences working with UNEP and the role of private sector engagement in forestry planning and management.
