Event description:

James Cameron, an executive fellow at the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and partner at Systemiq, will lead an interactive discussion focused on the role of private capital and sustainable investment in delivering sustainable solutions to critical environmental challenges. Beginning with an overview of Systemiq and how its founding and unusual capital structure might be used as a model for sustainable investment, the discussion will offer participants an opportunity to think through the process of founding and developing a similar private capital firm, identifying potential risks and pitfalls, and leveraging existing connections between capital and the environment into improved global environmental outcomes.
