Please join us Wednesday, April 24, for a conversation with Mr. Roberto Espinoza about indigenous involvement in the international frameworks intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.

Please join us Wednesday, April 24, for a conversation wtih Mr. Roberto Espinoza.

Mr. Espinoza has been a central figure in researching and creating the REDD Indigena proposal, which describes how REDD+ needs to change in order to be successful in indigenous communities. His talk will offer on-the-ground perspective of indigenous involvement in the international frameworks intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.

Mr. Espinoza will also discuss proposed alternatives to REDD+ that better-integrate indigenous perspectives and social concerns.
