We are hiring 12 Research Assistants for Fall 2017 to work on a number of projects, including the Environmental Performance Index, the Solutions for Energy, AiR, Climate, and Health (SEARCH) Center, and the Environmental/Social/Governance (ESG) Metrics project, and a new research effort looking at Trade and the Environment. SEARCH Research Assistant, Air Quality and Public Health: The Solutions for Energy, Air, Climate, and Health Center (SEARCH), directed by Dr. Michelle Bell, is a newly established center at Yale that will host four research projects and involve more than two-dozen researchers at nine institutions. We seek a Research Assistant to help with this policy work as the project reaches full implementation.
Communications Research Assistants: The Center is hiring multiple student research assistants to help with communications efforts at least for the fall semester and perhaps the full 2017-2018 academic year. Responsibilities include covering YCELP events, conducting interviews with guest speakers and fellows, contributing to the YCELP blog, and more.
Trade and Environment Research Assistant: The Center is hiring a student research assistant to help with Sustainability in International Trade Law: Rethinking the Trading System Rules and Procedures for at least for the fall semester and perhaps the full 2017-2018 academic year.
Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is a seeking Senior Attorney to work with the Sustainable FERC Project team in our Washington, DC office. The Sustainable FERC Project is an initiative housed in NRDC’s Energy and Transportation Program that represents many national and regional environmental organizations on transmission grid regulations and policies related to the deployment of renewable energy, demand response, energy efficiency, distributed generation and energy storage.
